Each lesson we have a topic, related to the home or family, education, fashion or careers, for example. In our first session we will choose the topics you want to discuss and I will then prepare material from magazines and newspapers.

If you need to improve your IELTS band score in one of the different skills, I offer intensive sessions where we focus on your weakest area. Firstly, I will diagnose what needs to be improved and then give you exercises specifically designed to adjust whatever mistakes you are making. Homework is involved and I expect it to be completed. You can even send me homework for marking between our sessions at no extra cost.
Reading skills can only be improved by reading widely. We will look at a newspaper article regularly and I encourage students to study the active and passive forms and look for idioms and phrasal verbs.
Often considered to be the most difficult part of the IELTS exam, writing a 250 word essay on a given topic for GENERAL and ACADEMIC IELTS is a skill that you can learn.
Every session includes a speaking component. I structure my questions around practice of the tenses and to include new vocabulary.
Listening material can be provided.
$60 per hour or part thereof. I provide material which will be shared with you on Google Docs.
